Set of 26 bearings for *some Shimano (Higher end! XT and XTR generally (but see below!). The type with alloy axles and through axles for rear hubs and some other brands too - if in doubt, please ask before buying!)

Please state your hub model at checkout, there are a few hubs that use a different sized bearing, by telling me your model number (usually in the form of FH-M123 or WH-M1234) I can check you receive the right parts.

This is sufficient usually to restore one rear wheel. Some require 24, some 26, so you may have some left over.* Please see other items for other sizes, for front wheels etc.!

*The rule is, for cups without cages, use one ball LESS than the maximum number that will physically fit. e.g. if 25 would fit, use 24. There will be a note explaining this included.

Sourced via a bearing specialist, these are very high quality Grade 10 fully hardened (as opposed to case hardened) chrome steel loose ball bearings for use in bicycle hubs.

Please note, these are not stainless steel (they are stronger than stainless), so a good quality waterproof grease is a must when installing!
