18" Hanging Ceremonial pipe

An authentic Native American made item by Alice Silva, a registered member of the Navajo Nation.

This traditional style pipe is 13" in length and features a large 5" tall elk antler pipe bowl.

(note pipe bowl is NOT free standing but because of the split antler that was used, a bit of careful filing at the bottom could make it so)

The wooden pipe stem has two 1.5" sections of 11/0 seed bead wrap on each end.

Clay is packed inbetween the beads in typical Navajo fashion.

Seed bead colors are yellow & bright blue & there is brown leather wrapped along the center of the pipe stem.

Hanging below the pipe stem is a row of antiqued bone hairpipe beads which alternate with antler disks & dark brown wooden beads

3 fluffy bronze turkey tail feathers ranging from 4.5-5" in length are attached to the wooden beads.

The mouthpiece is also made of elk antler & two sections of rabbit fur trim adorn the pipe stem.

The leather hanging strap made from braided dark brown leather.

A new & functional pipe.

Overall hanging dimensions are approx. 13x20"

This item is new, functional & comes with certificate of authenticity.

Looks great hanging on the wall.  A nice gift idea for any collector of authentic, Native American made artifacts.

Sorry, but because this item has elk antler we cannot export it outside of the USA.  This includes APO addresses.
