This pickup is for players that need an accurate, clear tone for fast runs.  The brighter sound has slightly less output but still matches well with other pickups.

The SH-2n for neck position is designed so that its volume is balanced with the bridge model and its tone has just the right amount of bass.

This pickup is a direct replacement and requires no guitar modification.  Recommended for neck position.
