SPECIFICS : Seattle SEAHAWKS - FIRST SEASON of the Franchise - versus the San Diego CHARGERS .

Pre - Season Game TICKET STUB. FIRST SEASON for the Seattle Seahawks.  This STUB is from the 3rd Game at their Home Field ( the KINGDOME ) including both pre and Regular Season games. 

HIGHLIGHTS / SIGNIFICANCE :  The Seahawks VERY FIRST VICTORY WIN !  They scored a touchdown and the Extra Point ( PAT - Point After Touchdown ) in the final seconds of the game to come from behind and to defeat the San Diego Chargers 17-16 .

STEVE LARGENT  - - - TRUE N.F.L. DEBUT Ticket Stub .Largent had been drafted by the Houston Oilers and was at their training camp.  They felt that they had too many Wide Receivers and they cut him from their Active Playing Squad. They then Traded him to Seattle for a 1977 8th Round draft pick. Largent arrived in Seattle in time to suit up for this August 29, 1976 game.  He was NOT the starting WR, that was Steve Raible. Largent started the game on the bench/sidelines, but he did Get Into This game.  Steve Largent's TRUE DEBUT in an N.F.L. football game.  He had TWO RECEPTIONS ; one for 23 yards and one for 13 yards for a total of 36 receiving yards.

Ticket STUB CONDITION :  Ticket STUB - Used  - very minor stain on front - DISPLAYS WELL -  Glue stains on back / reverse from having once been in a scrapbook, but there is NO paper or text loss.
