[Herfordshire] Knebworth Place - A 1700 Hand Coloured Copperplate Engraving By John Drapentier

From Sir Henry Chauncy’s “The Historical Antiquities of Hertfordshire”, published in 1700. Sympathetically hand coloured, with the arms of Sir William Lytton in upper left corner which also features Drapentier’s imprint.

Overall approx. 450x380mm., central vertical fold where bound. A few condition issues, several tears present, a couple of which have old repairs, also old staining and creasing. Handsome appearance.
