Let me start off by saying that I used to own a cartridge filter system for my pool and I know first hand how much of a pain it was to constantly clean, soak, spray those filters to keep them clean in order to save money by not buying new cartridges more then I had too. I have since moved on to a sand filter when I replaced my old pool
The photo you see was sent to me by a customer of my "Skimmer Filter Saver Socks" auctions that I run on ebay, who asked me if I had something to fit over his actual filter, rather then just the skimmer basket itself.
I sent him a super sized fine mesh net bag, and he loved it. It worked for him.
The net size is about 19 inches from top to bottom (elastic opening on top stretches wide enough to fit over cartridge top) and about 16" from side to side.

That's all I have to say about this super sized net bag. Other then that it is much easier to place this filter bag over the cartridge and then remove it and rinse it off and reuse again. The idea is that if you can get this bag to capture most of the dirt and debris, then you extend the life of your cartridge and make your maintenance of your pool much easier on yourself.
