MEL TILLIS autograph tee XL stuttering country T shirt hand-signed I Ain't Never

This is a previously-owned, adult-extra-large (XL), double-sided, white T-shirt with “Mel Tillis” printed on the front and back. It measures approximately 23 inches across the front (from underarm seam to underarm seam), about 29 inches from neckline to bottom, and is in good condition, though there is slight discoloration along the neckline from a piece of tape (Gildan brand, 100% cotton). Of note, the shirt is autographed on the front by Tillis.

The late Mel Tillis was a country music singer/songwriter, and actor who scored nearly six dozen country and crossover hits from the years 1958 to 1988 (his biggest being 1972’s “I Ain’t Never”). He also wrote “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love To Town,” which became a hit for Kenny Rogers. Tillis was known for a trademark stutter which disappeared when he sang. His daughter is the successful country music artist Pam Tillis.
