By Royal Vienna - Austria - Beehive mark from the Augarten Wien factory. Designed by Robert Ullmann in 1948. So marked in the  rear on the base.

Blanc de Chine figurine of a running horse part of a series Ullmann produced. There is this piece, another racing horse that I had listed separately (since sold) and at least two sets of pairs (foals and stallions). 

This piece measures about 16 1/2" inches long, 7 inches wide and is about 12 3/4 inches tall. Underside is marked with the blue beehive -as  well as K -  1790 - model number and Made in Austria. Am not 100% certain as to the manufacturing date, but presume it is sometime around the 1950's to 60's.

As noted above, condition is excellent with minor mold flaws on the base under the glaze. Noting for full disclosure.

The Augarten Wien (Vienna)  Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1718. It is the second-oldest in Europe. ALL porcelain is made and painted by hand making each and every piece unique and one of a kind.
