 advertising BILLHEAD

J. W. SHEERER

 in the year 1881,

 in  New Orleans, Louisiana. 

The top of the billhead is in purple blue ink and has some fading so a detail is provided to authenticate the date!  The billhead is for a sale of a couple items including Molasses. There is a handwritten note at the bottom in another darker ink that appears the last sentence is cut off.

CONDITION:  It has normal letter folds, some fading at top as noted with shadow of glue marks on back side.  Actually in good condition considering it's age.  It is approximately 6" X 9" in size.   

The "ebay item" thing is just a loose piece of paper and is not attached to the billhead.
