2- 64 bit Core is for newer, not very old Laptop and desktops which usually has 4gb or more memory.

a live/bootable and install of the latest version, you can boot and run
from the USB drive or install it permanently to your Laptop / desktop
PC. The LIVE option does not save any of your data on the USB drive,
everytime boot up and run from USB it will return back the original
state. if you install Zorin OS to your Laptop/PC then your data will be
saved on your hard drive.
2- Persistent storage is
also offered - this is where the Operating System is installed to the
USB drive instead of your PC meaning that the data is automatically
saved there instead of your PC's hard drive and can be ran entirely from
the stick.
