This pot was made by the now closed Yamaaki kiln. It’s a nice pot and owning pots from this kiln gives you a quality made pot for a good value. And being that they have been closed since 2010, the price of them has only risen.

1st Gen made pot. By the founder who passed away in 1990.

Good little older Yamaaki.

*Ive had hundreds of 1st Gen drums of the past two decades of selling old Japanese pots. I’ve never seen him make the rivets this color. At first glance, it’s hard to tell it’s a Yamaaki because it’s so different from their norm. This is for the true collector.
