Storing and using our Leather Repair Filler

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Store between 8°C and 30°C
• Once opened use within 12 months.

PLEASE NOTE: Always test on an inconspicuous area before use. Fully read and understand the instructions provided before use. Not suitable for use on Suede or Nubuck items.

How to apply our Leather Repair Filler

Step 1

Prior to application, ensure the area has been cleaned with our Ultimate Leather Cleaner to remove all dirt and grease from the surface. To ensure proper adhesion, all loose leather should be removed. This can be done using a fine grit sandpaper.

Step 2

Using a spatula or wooden stick, apply the Leather Filler to the damaged area in thin layers making it as smooth as possible. Ensure each layer is fully dry before applying the next. Drying time can vary; we recommended a minimum of 6 hours per layer. Speed up drying time if needed with a hairdryer on a medium heat. Repeat as necessary until the area has been filled and is flush with the surface.

Step 3

Once the filler is completely dry it is crucial that our Leather Touch Up Paint is used over the filler to achieve the best results and durability.

Frequently asked questions

I can't find the right coloured filler for my leather?

As our filler is designed to be used in conjunction with one our leather paints it really doesn't matter which colour you use. If you're unsure choose white.

Can I use your coloured filler on its own?

No, our filler cannot be used on its own. Our filler must be used with one of our Leather Colourants or the filler will dry and crack.

Can I use your Filler on faux leather?

Our Leather Filler is designed to be used on leather, faux leather and vinyl.
