PTO Clutch removed from an IH Cub Cadet 2072. The field coil has been professionally repotted with an epoxy 8 times harder than the original and with a heat rating of 260 degrees, and it protects the windings better than the original did. A new bearing has been pressed into the pulley. New PTO's are $1059.00 plus shipping from the dealer and are made in China. There is a $150.00 core charge which will be refunded upon receipt of a rebuildable core.

NOTE: This will only fit on those 2072 models with the original 20 horsepower Magnum engines with a 1-1/4" diameter crankshaft. This will not fit the Onan engine or those 20 horsepower Magnum engines with the smaller 1-1/8" diameter crankshafts.

This PTO will last for 30-years. New ones are $1059.00 plus shipping and they are NO LONGER MADE IN THE USA. Almost a half-pound lighter in weight, they are now made in China and have inferior electrical windings instead of thick, heavy copper like this one and a thin layer of cheap potting that cracks within the first year of use. Most dismantlers who sell on eBay don't post photos of the magnetic field coil, and the reason they don't is that the potting is cracked and melted due to excessive heat leaving the electrical windings exposed to excessive heat and certain failure. Simply put, we absolutely will not sell any part that we wouldn't install on one of our own Cub Cadets. Comes with a strip of Emery cloth to polish your crankshaft to ease reassembly.
