Wong Yau Nam stars as a slacker everyman who finds a new lease on life after death. Cecilia So, Jerry Lamb, Ben Yuen and Venus Wong co-star in the film, and Vincci Cheuk and members of Hong Kong bands ToNick and ERROR make cameo appearances.

Wong Hiu Kwai (Wong Yau Nam) is an ordinary, unremarkable guy with no house, no car, no girlfriend and no ambition. He just gets up and goes to work each day, aimlessly passing life without much thought. Then one day, he dies, but he can't remember how. In the afterlife, he realizes that the waiting line for reincarnation is very, very long – and he still has to work. He is suddenly placed in the underworld variety show Hell Bank Presents: Running Ghostthat gives the winning soul a ticket to resurrection. Wong returns to the mortal world to compete, and teams up with a psychic girl (Cecilia So) who helps him make it to the finals. For someone who's never tried much in life, he will have to fight for the chance to live in death.
