Compatibility Notes / Important Info:

• Before installing, check that your system has a free Bose Link port and is compatible with firmware updates.

• Some older systems must run the update (supplied on CD) to enable DAB functionality. Without the update the module may not be recognized.

• Make sure you have a good DAB aerial/antenna and your geographical region has DAB coverage — the upgrade gives DAB reception, but local signal strength still matters.

• Installation is fairly straightforward: connect to Bose Link, perform the software update, select DAB mode. (Tip: Make sure the module is placed at least ~5cm from the main unit if it’s interfering with AM reception.)

• The unit is for indoor use only (as all Bose Wave systems are), and should not be exposed to moisture, liquids or heat sources. Safety info is standard for Bose systems.
