Sourced in the EU, this is an Original Equipment aerial base, as factory fitted to several Fiat car, van and commercial vehicles, including many Brava, Bravo, Doblo, Fiorino, Punto, Seicento models. This is the design of base with an "egg" shaped footprint and an adjustable  pivot arm, mounted on the FRONT of the roof. It has a female internal thread to accept 6 mm male masts. The 5mm securing bolt is in a 10mm diameter castellated rubber protrusion, with a rectangular 3 x 4 mm mounting peg behind. Please see photo 4, and compare the photos to your existing base as Fiat use a number of designs of aerial base.  

Supplied with the rubber gasket the footprint is 'egg' shaped measuring 51 x 34 mm. On its underside the base has an M5, 5 mm male (external) thread which allows it to accept the existing coax cable screw and the ‘banjo’ shaped industry standard fittings. If a mast is also required we list these separately, or contact us for availability and combined postage.

Ideal replacement when the thread has sheared off, requiring the base to be replaced. Fitting is normally straight forward as access to the underside of the base fitting is normally by removing the interior light fitting. The vehicle manufacturers multi-source this base and it is listed under several part numbers .

Please note it is not suitable for later models fitted with a factory fitted car phone or factory fitted GPS Sat Nav or Bluetooth functionality as these masts & bases have a smaller diameter mast thread, or for cars with an antenna located on the rear of the roof.
