A beautiful large hand made native American design dreamcatcher. 17" high from the top of the hanger to the bottom.  The beaded hanger is 2" long.  The top hoop is 4.5" in diameter. 7 different colors, corresponding to the chakras of the body.  The center has the traditional Native American design in silver wire with the addition of 7 crystal beads in the top corresponding to the chakras. The others also have beads ranging from 5 to 1 according to size. The rings are covered in fine iridescent beadwork and there are 5, all with chakra colors. Then there are the feathers attached to each ring, also in the colors of the chakras.

Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with dreams both good and bad. The dream catcher when hung over or near your bed swinging freely in the air, catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the dream catcher, slipping through the outer holes and slide down the soft feathers so gently that many times the sleeper does not know that he/she is dreaming. The bad dreams not knowing the way get tangled in the dream catcher and perish with the first light of the new day.
