[Film Censorship] 1921 British Board of Film Censors Annual Report

12pp, original orange printed wrappers (two ink numeral annotations to upper edge of front). The text notes the recent decision by the London County Council to adopt new clauses in their licenses issued under the 1909 Cinematograph Act, as well as listing the film companies who had submitted films for censorship that year. It also lists the 38 censorship catagories which 433 films that year had fallen foul, which now seem rather archaic. Additionally, it lists the six categories which six films had been totally rejected (brothels, prostitutes, free love etc).
