Ultimate Leather Cleaner is our professional grade formula which absorbs deep into the leather’s surface, breaking down oils and contaminants that can interfere with dye absorption.

Leather Primer goes a step further by smoothing and preparing the surface. By opening the pores of the leather, it allows our Leather Dyes to adhere more effectively, ensuring long lasting, even coverage that won’t crack or peel.

Ideal for use on sofas, furniture, car seats, handbags, shoes and more, our Leather Preparer Kit provides the perfect foundation for recolouring and achieving professional quality results.

Storing and using our Leather Preparer Kit

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Store between 8°C and 30°C
• Once opened use within 12 months.

PLEASE NOTE: Always test on an inconspicuous area before use. Fully read and understand the instructions provided before use. Not suitable for use on Suede or Nubuck.

How to Apply our Leather Preparer Kit

Step 1

Dampen a clean, lint free cloth with our Ultimate Leather Cleaner and gently wipe over the leather surface. This removes grease and dirt, breaking down surface contaminants that could prevent proper dye adhesion. Allow the leather to dry naturally for 2 hours before moving to the next step. Ensure even coverage, repeat as necessary on any heavily soiled areas.

Step 2

Apply the Leather Primer to a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe over the leather in circular motions. Ensure the entire surface is evenly covered. It’s normal to see some colour transfer onto your cloth during this stage. Allow the Primer to fully dry for at least 1 hour in a room at a moderate temperature.

Step 3

Once dry, follow the instructions included with your chosen Leather Colourant or Repair Kit to complete your restoration.
