This unique glass ball or ornament comes from Viet Nam. It is beautiful in its simplicity; the white ball has deep blue flowers scattered around it, with leaves and swirls filling the background. I think this is a traditional design, as I have other items from Viet Nam with the same design. The ball measures 2 ½” in diameter and would look lovely on a tree or hanging from its silver thread. Some of the photos are shown on an ornament hanger, which is not included. There is no box but will be wrapped with care.
Also includes a gift card explaining the mission of Ten Thousand Villages – “The person giving you this gift wanted you to know what makes it special.”
One of my favorite shops is called Ten Thousand Villages. They are a nonprofit, fair trade retail organization that invests in dignity, sustainability, education and hope for villages in more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Artisans receive fair and full payment before their crafts reach the stores. Buyers give design assistance and maintain consistent orders so that artisans can plan for the future.
I thought this was a noble endeavor and decided to support them. It was an easy decision because everything was so beautiful. The hard part was deciding what to choose. This listing is for a handcrafted gift from the skilled artisans of Ten Thousand Villages.

I offer international shipping on most items. Please be aware of the wide range of pricing depending on your country and class of service. Any customs charges, duties or tariffs will be your responsibility. On International shipments, First Class International and Priority International do not include a tracking number, just the Customs number. Unfortunately, USPS can only monitor international shipments to the point they leave the United States. Priority Express International is the only service that includes a tracking number.
