Weldwood MOVABLE WALLS catalog (1962)

Out-of-print, hard-to-find 8 1/2" x 11" paper catalog, 12 pages from U.S. Plywood Corporation, New York, NY.  Dated January 1962.

Asbestos ReferenceS:

Weldwood movable walls (partitions) were "built-up" or sandwich type panels made with a core and facing material.  "Weldwood Glasweld (a porcelain surfaced asbestos-cement panel of unusual stability) is recommended for heavy traffic areas and for creating special effects."

Two core materials were available from Weldwood for their movable walls one was Novoply and the other was Weldrok.  As stated in the specification section of this catalog Weldrok is a light weight combination of inorganic calcium silicate reinforced with long asbestos fibers.

Book Condition:
The catalog is in VERY GOOD condition!!  The pages may have some lite browning due to age.   It's still a very good booklet with plenty of life left in it!!
