These stones are used for sharpening and maintaining woodworking, carving, and various other tools.  They are also used by metal workers, gunsmiths, etc.

This is a natural Arkansas sharpening stone which is found only around Hot Springs, Arkansas. The stone is novaculite and is the finest natural abrasive stone available. It has superior sharpening characteristics that will actually polish the edge as it sharpens.

This is a nice Arkansas sharpening stone that will sharpen knives and with a groove cut into one side for sharpening fish hooks.

The side without the groove is great for sharpening your pocket knives, etc.
