This is “The Sleek Brothers Band,” a previously-owned self-titled audio cassette-tape manufactured by Raintree Studio in the 1980s. It contains all artwork and plays through perfectly (double-checked). Track-listing:
In early 1954 four brothers formed the Sleek Brothers Band -- Ray played fiddle, Tony played rhythm guitar, Gene played mandolin, and Ned played banjo. From 1955 through 1957, the group played the Harley Bar in Bowling Green, Busy Corners in Gibsonburg, and the Bayshore Lodge near Vickery, Ohio.
In 1980, the band recorded an 11 song cassette in Gibsonburg, Ohio. They had a great following in Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio and opened for Bill Anderson, John Conley, Charlie McClain, Johnny Paycheck, Buck White and Family, Razzy Bailey, Tom T. Hall, Barbara Mandrell, the Oak Ridge Boys and Porter Wagner. As of 2007, the band was still kicking -- for the last 53 years, the group has comprised at least three brothers at all times… Track-listing:
