The map is titled Map of Gratz, at top are beautiful lithograph views of Middletown Furniture Manufacturing Co. and LB Wooward, dealer in Singer Sewing Machines, reverse is Res of Eli Swab, Washington Township, and Office & Res of Dr AJ Kantz, Berrysburg, Jl Matter ,Merchant Tailor, Lykens, and MB Rambler, Middletown . The map shows the named home and land owners, named business and industry, the few roads, named railroads , locations of buildings, and much more that existed at that time. The map is printed on thick fine paper, with nice outside ornate border as well. Beautiful maps. This is an antique map and not a reprint or reproduction. The handcoloring on the map is period to the map, this is before color printing. The map is from the very rare 1875 Everts and Stewart Atlas of Dauphin County Pennsylvania. The map is a fascinating and historic period look at this area at this time. The map is in nice shape, ,tight and clean. The size of the map is 14" by 17".
