| The ripeness/hardness tester/penetrometer FHT-15 is our new top-product. It is small in dimension, easily to transport and light in weight. You can used the device for strawberries, cherries, grapes, peaches, bananas, apricots, plums, melons, citrus, pears and kiwis. It also can be used for vegetables (for example avocados). It helps you in determination and monitoring the optimal harvest time and the softening during storage. The advantage of digital penetrometer is the higher accuracy and a higher resolution in the measurement as opposed to an analog penetrometer. You can use the device as a hand measuring instrument on site or for the quality control during transport. It also can be used for laboratory experiments. It consists of a probe with measuring head as well as a digital display showing the measuring results in a resolution of 0,1 degrees of hardness. The FHT-15 corresponds to the standards DIN 53505, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240. Our equipment has a RS-232 interface to transfer the measured values to a laptop or a PC. Software and cable (SW2) are optional available in our shop. The ripeness tester works in three different ranges: low range (small and large fruits for example strawberries, cherries, peaches...), middle range (small, large, firm and hard fruits for example grapes, apricots, avocados...) and high range (large, firm and hard fruits for example pears, nectarine, avocados...). Product highlights: - DIN 53505, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240 conformal - Large measuring range with hight resolution - Maintenance-free digital display - High grade probe - HOLD function for maximum values - AVERAGE function for measured values - ABS plastic housing |
