They are suitable for a number of purposes, primarily developed as a clay modelling tool, many other uses include, pastel blending, moving heavy pigment on canvas techniques, application of masking fluid ( fluid easily peels off after use) Used in cake decoration for similar clay modelling technique for moulding, shaping and texture purposes. 

Five distinct shapes are included to allow many different effects.
