We grade 78s the same way that we grade Vinyl LPs. We don't use the E or E+ system as we feel it leaves too much leeway for interpretation on the sellers part. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. We go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. It is just impossible to play grade everything we put on Ebay.

All 78s will be carefully packaged & protected. The Postal Service can be brutal in their handling of packages so we have no control of the packages once they are delivered to the Post Office. We can only assure that they will be carefully packaged in the condition stated in the item description.

GRADING. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBay. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.
