This vintage program is in VERY GOOD (minimal cover wear, drink stain on back cover, see scan) condition.
This item is neatly scored in red pen for eight innings and is from the game played at Fenway Park between the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox on August 29th, 1972. The Red Sox defeated the White Sox, 3-0. Luis Tiant got the win with a complete game, allowing five hits, one walk and striking out five. Reggie Smith provided the offense with two hits (both doubles) and two RBI's. Carlton Fisk added an RBI, driving in Smith with a single in the first inning. Tom Bradley took the loss, lasting 4 2/3 innings, allowing all three runs on five hits and three walks. Dick Allen had two hits in the losing cause for the White Sox.
