Egress friction hinge allows casement windows to open to a full 90 degrees for emergency exit to comply to 

British Standard BS 5588 Part 1 1990 and building regulations Document B for fire escape windows.

Hinge Width is 18 mm most friction stays are within 0.5 mm of this size

      

  • Can be used in side-hung mode.
  • 16" Version complies with BS8213 Part 1991 for fire escape windows.
  • Manufactured in ferritic stainless steel.
  • These are not inferior imported hinges

13 mm stack height is the depth (thickness) of the hinge,
to measure the stack height simply position the hinge as shown in the
photo and measure the thickness of the body of the hinge

 
Stainless steel screws are available from our here!

These are repair screws and we recommend using theses screws
when fitting new hinges as they are slightly larger and will cut 
a new thread and never rust
