You are buying one DAMAGED Neodymium Rare Earth Magnet. The damaged area(s) are circled in the photo(s). This cylinder has very large nick starting at the edge and a small nick on the other side rim.
Neodymium magnets are very powerful, but they are also fairly fragile. Accidents happen and the thin nickel coating can peel or chip away, exposing the NdFeB magnetic material itself. This material will oxidize (rust) over time, especially in damp or wet conditions.
A slightly damaged rare earth magnet will retain most of it's rated strength. Of course, this will decrease based on the amount of NdFeB material that has been lost.
