Use with the overlock stitch to give a professional finish to the edges of your seams. Particularly good for finishing off medium to heavyweight, easily frayed woven fabrics such as tweed, gabardine, and linen. Stitch over raw edges easily and neatly—all at once. A pin on the foot preventing the fabric from puckering when overcasting the edge. The guide ensures perfect alignment, as a result -- you are creating smooth stitches that won't pucker. Requires Zigzag sewing machine models.
