The Cameri Theater established in 1944 in Tel Aviv,

is one of the leading theaters in Israel,

In 2005, the Cameri won the Israel Prize,

for its lifetime achievements and special

contribution to society and the State of Israel.

Arieh Navon, painter, caricaturist and stage designer,

Caricaturist of newspaper, "Davar", 1933-64.

Illustrated poetry and children's books and

designed theater sets and costumes;

in 1975 he was chosen by the ITI (International

Theater Institute) as one of the best creative

theater set designers, including the sets for most

of Shakespeare's plays produced in Israel.
