The stated size of all heat shrink tube refers to the internal diameter prior to shrinking, not the size when laid flat.
2:1 Unlined Heat Shrink Tube
- Unlined heat shrink is the most commonly used, the 2:1 ratio tube shrinks to 1/2 of its diameter when heated.
- High quality, cost effective, commercial grade for electrical, electronic, automotive and general industrial markets.
- High strength and resilience.
- Tubing over 9mm diameter is supplied flat.
- Minimum Shrinkage Temperature ~ +70 Degrees C
- Full Recovery Temperature ~ +100 Degrees

- Due to the way heat shrink tube is manufactured it is often a little larger than its stated pre-shrunk size, however this tube will always shrink to 1/2 of the stated pre-shrunk size.
3:1 Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tube
- Adhesive lined heat shrink has a 3:1 shrinkage rate and shrinks to 1/3 of its diameter when heated.
- When heated the adhesive lining melts and flows around the material being covered giving a permanent weatherproof bond.
- Stated sizes are the internal diameters prior to shrinking.
- High quality, cost effective, commercial grade for electrical, electronic, automotive and general industrial markets.
- Our 39mm,50mm,80mm and 100mm adhesive lined tube is manufactured with extra thick walls to withstand heavy duty applications.
