S.F.I. approved flexplates are manufactured from stamped and cold rolled
non resulfurized carbon steel plate.
The 3.5mm thickness of the stamped steel plate.
The
steel plate is Mig-Tig welded on both sides to the gear ring.
The
high manganese carbon steel gear ring is broached from CNC machine
centers for superior contact for engines frequently kicked on and off.
Are
tested to 12,500 RPM for explosion proof in compliance with S.F.I.
29.1 specification.
Surface
is yellow dichromate finished.
