Displaying Original Art Baseball

#7 - Walter Johnson ~ Washington Senators

Autographed by artist Monty Sheldon

In 1999, baseball artist Monty Sheldon and baseball historian/card dealer Mark Macrae teamed up to produce this outstanding card picturing a unique hand-painted baseball artball by Sheldon.

This card measures 2-1/2 by 3-1/8 inches, features dramatic colors on high quality stock and is stylishly designed. It is a card whose quality is worthy of any national issue and an interesting addition to the best of collections.

Unique, innovative and highest quality - these are a few of the adjectives that identify both the Sheldon artballs and Sheldon/Macrae artball promotion cards! Don't miss your opportunity to add a favorite or two to your collection. (And check out these great art pieces if you happen to attend a convention at which they are displayed.)

This card has been autographed by the artist, Monty Sheldon!

Postscript: eBay likes for sellers to have multiple scans in each listing. Our second one has nothing to do with the listing. It is a picture of all-time baseball great Ted Williams with The Baseball Hobbyist's Steve Mitchell at a 1982 Connecticut sports collectors gathering - Ted's very first-ever collector event. On the second day of the show "The Splendid Splinter" visited with collectors and dealers and graciously granted this photo. (Photo by fellow collector-dealer Bob Thing).
