This program is scored in pen through six innings. The game is from August 27th, 1973, the Minnesota Twins at the Detroit Tigers.  The Twins defeated the Tigers, 5-3.  Twins starting pitcher, Danny Fife went seven strong innings, allowing two runs on only four hits.  Bill Campbell got his first save of the season.  

Hitting stars for the Twins were Rod Carew and Tony Oliva with three hits each.  Steve Brye added his fourth home run of the season.  Mike Strahler took the loss for the Tigers, lasting only 1 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on four hits.  Mickey Stanley and Willie Horton had two hits each in the losing cause.
