KENESAW M. LANDIS OFFICIAL 1981 BASEBALL HALL OF FAME METALLIC PLAQUE CARD. Judge Kenesaw Landis was the First Commissioner of Baseball. Nice near-mint to mint condition, please see photo for actual card. This is from my personal collection obtained at time of release in 1981, the complete series ran from 1981-1989.
Produced in a limited quantity with only 1,000 impressions of each card manufactured, and available only through the Cooperstown National Baseball Hall of Fame gift shop. Each plaque is an exact replica, in gold anodized aluminum, of the member's official Hall of Fame plaque in standard card size 2 ½” x 3 ½”. This card is from the First Series issued in 1981.
