How to apply our Fabric Dye
Step 1
Clean the surface thoroughly with our
Fabric Cleaner and gently dampen the fabric with cold water before applying the dye.
Step 2
Dilute the
Fabric Dye with our
Colour Boost Solution. Use half the amount of the Colour Boost to the amount of Fabric Dye (e.g. 500ml Fabric Dye to 250ml Colour Boost). This will help absorption into stubborn or protected fibres.
Step 3
Apply the
Fabric Dye using a paint brush, sponge or by spray. Allow the item to dry for at least 1 hour between coats. Gently brush with a soft bristle brush between coats to prevent fibres from drying together. Allow the fabric to fully dry and cure for at least 72 hours. Once dry, apply our
Fabric Protector for waterproofing and colour preservation.
