Waterford introduced the ROYAL TARA pattern in 1964. It is one of the most difficult patterns to cut with the faceted knobs on the stem and also one of the most expensive. This 5 3/8" tall sherbet/champagne is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The bowl is 4 1/2" in diameter and would be ideal for serving many types of desserts or appetizers. It is a vintage piece and signed on the bottom with the older Waterford factory mark featuring the Old English font "W". Note there are two versions of this pattern. They differ in the cuts on the base. This goblet has cut panels near the stem. The other has thumb prints on the outer edge of the base. Please check yours for an exact match.
