Capparelli Illinois State Rep '70s Oval Pinback Button

Here up for sale is a lightly used approximately 2.75" long by 1.75" tall oval shaped pinback button promoting Ralph Capparelli, the long time Illinois state representative from 1971 to 2004.  Capparelli was given the honorary title "Dean of the House" in 1995, when he became its longest serving member.

I believe this button dates back to the mid '70s.  The button face shows light signs of wear and scratches  when viewed at some angles, and overall looks nice.  The back has only traces of corrosion.  The attractive oval shape and color could make an attractive addition to a political button collection.
