A common problem, when you come to replace your LCD or Plasma with an newer LED, the power cable which you so neatly plastered into the wall, is no longer the correct one. LCD and Plasmas normally need an IEC plug, but LED's require a Figure 8 plug. This adapter converts an IEC Plug into a Figure 8 plug, so no new cables need to be added.
Most of the CD/DVD-players, but also satellite receivers and many other A/V accessories have the so-called "figure-8" (IEC 320/C7) connection, by which it is not possible to upgrade it with a higher quality power cord, like our POWER CORDS.
