This lovely ORIGINAL, not reproduction, chromolithograph is an antique book plate from an edition of Johnson's Household Book of Nature copyrighted in 1880 and sold only to subscribers.  

 

Printed on medium to heavy paper and free of text on the back measuring approximately 7 1/2 x 10 1/8 inches in its entirety and 5 5/8 x 7 7/8 inches for the image only.

Overall the condition is very good to excellent apart from mild soiling, possible light foxing and 3 minor holes on left border where litho was attached by string in booklet.  Please look carefully at the pictures so you may see exactly what you are bidding for.
