The steering rack is connected to the wheel via this Track Rod End.
Often any knocking felt in the steering will come from this Track Rod End
The Ball Joint in the Track rod is constantly moving and even a
little play in it will quickly wear to a massive and dangerous amount
It can wear our quickly due to its constant moving or get damage from impact to the wheel, be it from severe potholes, kerb's, or accidents
If a Track Rod End is bent it is recommended NEVER to try to
straighten it as the strength of the part will be greatly compromised
