The Intelix AVO-SVA2-F
S-Video and Stereo Audio Balun transmits/receives S-Video and stereo (or two mono) audio signals up to 1000 feet over a single Cat 5 type cable.

This professional-grade device uses a high-performance passive design to deliver crisp S-Video and audiophile-quality stereo sound.

The Intelix AVO-SVA2-F
S-Video and Stereo Audio Balun is an ideal solution for corporate A/V, schools, churches, auditoriums, as well as for discriminating individuals - just about any situation that involves A/V distribution.

With its attractive Decora-style wallplate design, the Intelix
AVO-SVA2-WP-F is simple to install in a standard single-gang electrical box. A Decora trim cover is not included, but we do offer them as an option here.

The video connector is a 4-pin mini-DIN jack, suitable for use with standard S-Video cables and the audio connectors are RCA-female, color-coded white and red for use with standard audio interconnect cables. Connection to the twisted-pair cable is via RJ45.

Notice that Intelix baluns are designed to work with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 twisted-pair cable - shielded cable is not required! If you want the very best RJ45 pre-terminated twisted-pair cables, please check out our VideoTwist Cat-6 cables.

These units are sold singly, so you must purchase pairs, combine with another SVA2-series balun, V2A2-series balun, or use with the AVDA-8-F Audio/Video Distribution Amplifier Balun.

NOTE: AVO-SVA2-WP-F can also be used in place of AVO-A2-WP-F.

Like most Intelix products, the AVO-SVA2-WP-F comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

The Intelix AVO-SVA2-WP-F balun is an ideal solution for transmitting s-video and ultra-high quality stereo audio up to 1,000 feet over structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs or with the rack-mountable Intelix
AVO-SVA2-F balun, AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate baluns replace bulky coaxial cable and utilize a building's existing structured cabling network. The AVO-SVA2-WP-F features female connectors on a standard decora plate.

The Intelix AVO-SVA2-WP wall-plate balun transmits an S-Video signal and two analog audio signals up to 1,000 feet over standard structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs or with the rack-mountable Intelix AVO-SVA2 balun, AVO-SVA2- WP baluns replace bulky S-Video cable and utilize a building’s existing structured cabling network.

In this connection example, an Intelix
AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate balun and an Intelix AVO-SVA2-F rack-mountable balun connect a DVD player to a remote plasma and an audio receiver. Audio and video from the DVD player is balanced by the source balun, transmitted over the Cat 5 cabling, and then unbalanced by the receive balun. The audio from the DVD player is sent to the audio receiver and the video is sent to the plasma.

USPS Priority Mail

Premium air service that provides overnight delivery to most (but not all) US addresses. Better tracking and faster delivery than Priority Mail. Saturday delivery is included at no additional charge.

Priority Mail Express International (aka EMS)
Our preferred international shipping method for all international shipments because it offers the best tracking as well as the fastest and most dependable delivery.

Priority Mail International
Available for items under $300 in value. Cost is somewhat lower, although delivery gets less priority than PMEI.

First Class Mail International
Economy service for items weighing less than 4 pounds and valued at under $100. This is the least expensive international shipping option, but the savings comes at the expense of tracking - scanning is not mandatory, so this service does not provide reliable tracking information, and the post office will not trace delayed or lost packages.

EIS (eBay International Shipping)
This is a premium expedited shipping service where your total cost, including import duties and taxes, are known and paid during checkout. eBay assumes full responsibility for the safe delivery of your shipment.

Warranty

Manufacturer's Warranty Statement

Intelix warrants to the original purchaser of new and B-stock products that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase from an authorized Intelix reseller, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.

All Intelix products are guaranteed against malfunction due to defects in materials or workmanship for two years after date of purchase. If a malfunction does occur during the specified period, the defective product will be repaired or replaced at Intelix’s option without charge. As a condition to receiving the benefits of this warranty, you must provide Intelix with documentation that establishes you were the original purchaser of the Intelix products. If you are not the original purchaser, the Intelix equipment must be accompanied by dated documentation of proof of purchase.

This warranty does not cover: 1) Malfunction resulting from use of the product other than as specified in the user manual; 2) Installation specific wiring; 3) Malfunction resulting from abuse or misuse of the product; 4) Exterior chassis appearance; 5) Malfunction occurring after repairs have been made by anyone other than Intelix or any of its authorized service representatives; 6) Acts of nature; 7) Optional software upgrades or updates.

This warranty will be void if the product’s serial number or quality control sticker has been removed or defaced, or if the product has been altered, subjected to damage or abuse, repaired by any person not authorized by Intelix to make repairs, or installed in any manner that does not comply with Intelix’s recommendations.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Intelix disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

No agent or reseller of Intelix is authorized to modify this warranty or to make additional warranties on behalf of Intelix. Statements, representations or warranties made by any party other than Intelix does not constitute warranties by Intelix. Intelix shall not be responsible or liable for any statement, representation or warranty made by any other person or party.

USA Customers

Intelix typically does a very fine job of handling warranty issues, but if you prefer to deal with Cable Solutions, we will be pleased to handle the matter for you.

International Customers

Please notice that most of our electronic equipment carries a USA warranty, so all international warranty issues must be handled by Cable Solutions. This means that you must return the item to Cable Solutions for all warranty repair or replacement issues. You will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns handled by Cable Solutions. Please contact us for authorization and instructions.

Return Policy

Defective Merchandise

Defective merchandise will be repaired or replaced as described above.

Non-defective Merchandise

All non-defective returns are subject to restocking fees. Here are some examples of the fees:

Un-opened merchandise

All un-opened returns are subject to a 10% (minimum) restocking fee.

Opened merchandise

B-Stock or "open box" electronic devices - 15% (minimum)

New electronic devices - 20% (minimum)

Manufactured cables that are packaged in a reusable container - 15% (minimum)

Manufactured cables that are packaged in a non-reusable container - 20% (minimum)

Shipping/handling fees are not refundable and you will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses related to the return. In the case of items with "free shipping", customary shipping/handling fees will be added to your restocking fees.

In order to qualify for the rates shown above, we must receive your return within the first 14 days following the day you receive your order. In cases where the item is returned incomplete, or in less than perfect condition, we will evaluate the restocking fees on a case by case basis.
