Agate Nodule - Polished

 Agate comes from Grand County, Utah - found in the Brushy Basin Member in the Morrison Formation. These agate jasper nodules are from around the same Jurassic Time Period, about 150 million years old.

Polished half with deep rich red, red/orange mossy and lavender agate with a dome polish. It's so cool how these agates are formed.  Very nice, rare and unique, add it to your collection!

Measurements are about 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/2 inch wide on the polished face and weighs 1.6 ounces.
