This is our Mavin EM-TL3006Y-4, offered as a excellent replacement for your dead M&K woofer. The EM-TL3006Y-4, is a 4 ohm high end speaker with a durable stiff paper cone and a no rot rubber surround. Meaning this speaker will last for a great many years.

A couple of years back when Miller and Kreisel went out of business, we bought out the balance of the M&K ( Miller and Kreisel ) 17025, 17037 replacement woofers. After selling out, I went looking for a suitable replacement. In the lab tests that I made, the Mavin EM-TL3006Y-4 stood up very well to the standard M&K driver. I believe you will find this to be a terrific drop in replacement for the 17025, 17037 or any other 4 ohm M&K woofer. The nice thing with this is that you no longer have to settle with a repaired or reworked woofer in your M&K sub. This driver will drop right in and bring your system back to life.
The quality, fit an finish of our Mavin driver is equal to if not better than the M&K unit you are replacing. There isn't a down side, well almost. The only issue that I could not duplicate is the M&K logos and Deep Fast Bass imprinting on the speaker dust cap, your's will be in basic black. Oh, and the Mavin driver has a heavier magnet structure.
If you are in need of a good quality drop in replacement, to bring you M&K back to life, this will do it...
