Product Overview & Historical Significance

Adapted from Ken Ishikawa's final manga in the legendary Getter Robo franchise, this 13-episode mecha anime series serves as the definitive animated climax to the iconic Super Robot saga. Directed by Jun Kawagoe, this complete collection brings together the entire television run in high definition across two Blu-ray discs.

Nineteen years after the cataclysmic events of the original Getter Robo battles, Earth faces annihilation from a terrifying alien armada originating from the Andromeda Flow Country. Takuma Nagare, the hot-headed son of original Getter pilot Ryoma Nagare, seeks the truth behind his mother's death alongside Baku Yamagishi and Sho Kamui, a human-dinosaur hybrid. Joining forces at the Saotome Research Institute under the command of Hayato Jin, the trio takes the controls of the ultimate battle machine, Getter Robo Arc. To protect humanity and the future of Earth, Takuma and his fellow pilots must unleash the mysterious power of Getter Rays against cosmic forces beyond imagination.
