Traditional British-made cast-iron woodworking hand plane, suitable for restoration, woodworking use once serviced, spare parts or collection.
The plane is clearly marked RECORD No 04 and MADE IN ENGLAND.
This is an unrestored vintage tool showing substantial age and use.
There is extensive surface rust, oxidation, staining and loss/wear to the original finish across the body, blade assembly and other metal components.
The wooden front knob and rear handle are present and show general age-related wear and marking.
The plane has not been cleaned, restored, sharpened or tested for woodworking performance. It should therefore be considered a restoration project and may require cleaning, adjustment and sharpening before use.
