Talk about your unique water decals! This rarest of the rare vintage travel decals is a souvenir of OLD ABILENE TOWN, an Old West themed attraction that was very popular in the 1950s in Abilene, Kansas.
Once closed but now restored and brought back to life, this vintage find is a souvenir from the early years of attraction and features some of the original buildings that could be found in the Cattle Capital during the roaring heydays of the Chisolm Trail including the General Store and Western Wear store.
Produced by IMPKO in the 1960s, this decal is in first class condition for its age and rarity with bright colors. It measures almost 4" wide by 3" tall and comes in its original glassine sleeve.
While you can still visit the restored Old Abilene Town today, one thing you probably won't find is an original waterslide decal - they don't make 'em like this one anymore!
