There was a small amount of liquid ingress while the components were in use. The PC continued to work normally for a period of time afterwards, but later stopped working and now does not power on.
I have not been able to diagnose the components individually, so I cannot confirm whether the motherboard, CPU, or both are faulty. For this reason, both the motherboard and CPU should be considered faulty.

The CPU will be supplied installed in the motherboard socket to protect the socket pins during shipping.
